The Mamaroneck Artists Guild announces the
17th Annual Open Juried Small Works Exhibition for 2022
EXHIBITION: March 29-April 23, 2022
SUBMISSION OPEN: March 1-15, 2022

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE: Monday, March 21, 2022 by email
Lisa Cooper has been a juror for several shows including the 20/20 Vision and 2019 Art Libris Juried Art Exhibits at the Pequot Library in Southport, and the 2020 Juried Show at the Rowayton Art Center and the 6thAnnual Art Essex Juried Exhibit at the George Billis gallery in Westport. She has been a guest lecturer at School of Visual Arts and Queens College, a guest curator for 2011 CurateNYC and the Bronx gallery for 2013 CurateNYC. She was a founding member of the New York Chapter of the Association of Women Art Dealers. She is currently a member of the Arts & Architecture Review Committee at Saint Peter’s Church in Manhattan; Art Table, and the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County.
Lisa Cooper launched Elisa Contemporary Art in November 2007 and the Riverdale Gallery was opened in September 2008. The Art Salon in Fairfield CT was launched in 2017. The gallery mission is to present art that transforms our lives and an integral element of that is helping others. A portion of gallery sales are donated to philanthropic organizations that help children and families within underserved communities heal and grow through their experience with art.
SMALL WORKS SHOW LOCATION: The exhibit will be displayed at the gallery at 1987 Palmer Ave., Larchmont, NY as well as on our website. All accepted work will appear online at www.mamaroneckartistsguild.org
ACCEPTED MEDIA: The exhibition will include original work in ANY MEDIA, 2D, 3D, and Fine Crafts completed after January 2020. Only original artwork will be accepted. No Giclees. Work in prior juried shows is not accepted. Work may not exceed 15” in any direction (if 2D that includes frame; if 3D that includes the base).
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists 18 years and older. Artists may submit a maximum of 5 entries. Work exhibited in prior MAG Small Works exhibitions is not eligible.
FEES: The entry fee is $50 (1-3 entries); members: $40 (1-3 entries). Payment is due upon submission. Payment does NOT guarantee acceptance by the juror.
SUBMISSIONS: All images must be submitted as jpg files at 150dpi resolution, 1200 pixels in the longest dimension, and a file size of 1MB or less. Jpg files must be named as follows: firstname_lastname_title_medium_size.jpg.
All required fields on entry form must be completed. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Entry fees are not refundable, and all deadlines are final. By entering, you agree to abide by all the rules and terms of the exhibition.

DELIVERY OF ACCEPTED WORKS: Hand delivery: Monday, March 28, 1-5 PM
All shipped work must be received at the gallery no later than Monday, March 28, 2022. Please include a pre-paid, returned mailing label. NO CASH or CHECKS.
SALES: All work must be for sale. A commission of 40% will be charged on all sales. Price may not be changed from price listed on entry form. When the show ends, the exhibit will stay on the MAG website, in our past show category for 3 months. If any work sells, after the end of the show, the commission will remain the same.
Any sold work will be the responsibility of the artists to deliver or cover the cost of shipping the work to the buyer. You can calculate the shipping at the time of sale or include it in your price.
