15th Annual Open Juried Small Works Show

The Mamaroneck Artists Guild announces the 15th Annual Open Juried Small Works Exhibition for 2019. We are pleased to announce our juror is Susan Eisner Eley. She founded Susan Eley Fine Art in the spring of 2006 as a salon-style gallery in a townhouse on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The Gallery focuses on contemporary art by emerging and mid-career artists. In addition to an active exhibition program, the Gallery participates in international art fairs in NYC, Miami, Houston, Silicon Valley and Toronto, and is active on several online platforms, including 1stDibs and Artsy. Eley has curated and juried several exhibitions off site, most recently, jurying the Silvermine Arts Center’s Guild Group Show (2018). Eley has worked in public relations and education at the Morgan Library & Museum, the Mayor's Art Commission of the City of New York and interned at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy. Eley is a former freelance editor and writer, who has written extensively on fine art and dance for national and regional publications. Eley was a blogger for Huffington Post. Eley has a BA in Art History from Brown University and an MA in Visual Arts Administration from NYU.
Open to all artists 18 years and older, the exhibition will include work in any media or 3D completed since January 2016. Artists may submit a maximum of 5 entries. Size of all work may not exceed 15” in any direction (For 2D work that includes frame. If 3D, includes the base) All 2D work must be suitably framed, wired and ready to hang. No saw tooth hangers or metal loops. All work must be finished and completely dried.
Minimum entry fee is $40 for up to 3 entries. Additional entries are $10 each up to a maximum of 5 entries. Payment is due upon submission. Payment does NOT guarantee acceptance by the juror. The juror will award cash prizes.
